One Room Challenge Week 8

Hi Friends!

We made it to the end of the One Room Challenge, and boy do we have some beautiful reveal photos to show you. However, before we get to those gorgeous photos we wanted to break down our last two weeks below. As everyone knows from our previous One Room Challenge Week 7 post, we were literally down to the wire with this full renovation. Cue in the frantic site visits, multiple phone calls to the contractor, and of course sleepless nights. It was all worth it in the end because you guys it is so beautiful!

The last two weeks have been filled with a lot of progress, and those little details that make the difference. Remember, the details is the design and are so important especially with renovations. The amazing custom vanity was finally been installed, and gorgeous quartz stone. Tile was completed as scheduled, trim and fixtures were also installed, and final paint was completed.

So without further adieu, here is our reveal for the Project Sailpointe Master Bathroom remodel! Please forgive us for all the excitement around here.

Can we just take a moment and oh and awh over these gorgeous copper finish pulls against that moody blue!?

One of our favorite elements in the design is the mix of metals. We chose a copper and brushed nickel finish to really give the space some nice contrast. The copper finishes also add to that farmhouse flair we were going for.

Pro Tip: Mixing metals in a bathroom really elevates any space! We pick 2-3 finishes tops and use the below formula.

Light fixtures and pulls = 1 finish

Plumbing fixtures and accessories (mirror) = 2nd finish

Pulls available here.

Sconces available here.

Barn door heaven!? I think yes! These super cool barn doors feature a herringbone pattern on the door that we think tie beautifully into the space. They complement the herringbone subway tile in the shower perfectly.

Can't have a completed bathroom without an adorable stool moment right!? The stool is available here for purchase.

We are just obsessed with how the marble subway tile looks on the shower floor. We opted to install the tile in a brick staggered pattern to compliment the herringbone tile on the wall.

Here you can really appreciate the quartz stone. As you can see, the grey veining with the subtle hints of brown/gray really give the stone such a unique quality.

We hope you enjoyed the project reveal photos as much as we do! It's a complete night and day transformation from week 1. From the botched reno's our clients previously had to the fugly finishes this project has been so rewarding to completed. We sure know our clients LOVED the space, and are so overjoyed and happy with the end result.

Now on top the next project! Follow along on our Instagram to catch up on the latest from the KJ team.

We would love hear what you thought of the final space in the comments below!

Xoxo,

Janine and Karina
